About Ansen Covin
Assistant Coach
“With multiple years of experience coaching high school track & field and cross country, I bring both passion and a lifelong connection to the sport. Growing up in a family of track athletes, I’ve been around meets for as long as I can remember—an experience that shaped my deep appreciation for the culture, discipline, and community that track offers.”

My approach to coaching centers on discipline, intentionality, and commitment to growth. I believe athletes find true fulfillment not by chasing numbers but by embracing the process— dedicating themselves to fully learning the craft.
-
I enjoy the challenge of breaking down each phase of the vault and collaborating with athletes to identify what helps them succeed. I also love guiding athletes as they build mental toughness and consistency.
-
I enjoy working with my hands and bringing ideas to life through woodworking and creative projects. I believe in making the most of each day and appreciating the gifts we're given, whether that is through running, spending time outdoors, or working in the yard. I find a lot of value in staying connected to the world around me.
