About Emily Cloutier

Social media manager, office manager, assistant coach.

“Hi, my name is Emily Cloutier. I am an Oklahoma Pole Vault alumnus and have stayed involved with the club since graduating high school. I mostly stay behind the scenes working on social media, but I also come out and coach when I am free from my own athletic responsibilities. Over the past few years, I’ve taken on a larger role within the club, helping with communication, scheduling, parent coordination, and keeping our day‑to‑day operations organized. I love being able to support the club in whatever ways I can, both as someone who understands the sport from an athlete’s perspective and as someone who helps the business run smoothly behind the scenes.”

  • I want athletes to have fun and feel excited to walk into our facilities. My approach is patient and encouraging, helping our athletes understand that good vaulting comes from taking the time to build things correctly.

  • I’ve found that my strength as a coach is noticing and adjusting the small technical details in a jump, especially with athletes who already have the basics down.

  • I have pole vaulted on the collegiate level at both the University of Arkansas and the University of Oklahoma. Outside of my own training, I pour a lot of my time into my photography clients and growing my own business.
