I’m big on understanding, both for myself and for the athletes I coach. I explain things in a way vaulters can actually grasp, and if something doesn’t click, I adjust until it does. Understanding builds confidence, and confidence leads to better attempts. Rome wasn’t built overnight, and neither is a champion jumper.

My focus is on meeting athletes where they are, understanding what they need, and combining that with input from the coaching staff. With my background in physics and mechanics, I pay close attention to technique and offer clear, practical feedback to help optimize form and function.

I’m married with one son and four dogs. I’m an Oklahoma State University graduate, an engineer at The Boeing Company, a member of the Oklahoma Air National Guard, and I run a renovation side business.
